Sure I can give you tips! Of course everyone has their own way of playing, so these will be from my own experience. I do get a lot of thanks from people when I play medic, and I pretty much always end up at the top of the scoreboard.

You want to think about priorities as a medic. What to do and what not. If you can focus on these three things, you are on a good track;

Your own survival

Sharing the heals

Helping your teammates in fighting

Staying alive is important when your team needs to be ubered. Dying constantly will waste time and possibly cause your team to fall back. Best ways to prevent this are to keep moving (dodging, jumping etc.) to make yourself a more difficult target to enemies, especially snipers. Remember to always check your surroundings while healing. Look behind to make sure there are no spies or others sneaking up on you.

When you share the overhealing with everyone around you, it builds your uber a lot faster than if you keep healing one person. It only takes a second to overheal most classes from full health, so it’s easy to share them. Soldiers and demos can also effectively help by damaging themselves with explosives while you heal them. When you have your team overhealed, enemy snipers for example cannot make quick headshots (150 dmg) with one hit, and thus causes them to take time reloading and usually reveals their place. Then your team can give them a hard time aiming by shooting at them. It’s all depending on the amount of teamwork and how good the players are, though.

Lastly, when you’re healing and if you see an enemy approaching from a blind spot, you can equip the syringe gun to alert your teammates to that direction. You kind of have a role of being a second pair of eyes to the person you’re healing. If you see someone fighting, but are not close enough to heal them, you can help with your primary weapon and deal some damage to the enemy. Even the syringe gun’s 10 damage can save the life of your friend. The Ubersaw is great for adding 25% charge with every hit, and can surprise your enemies if you get a full uber with that. The Amputator is also good if you have many people around you and want to heal them all at once. However, it’s best to do that in a place where the enemies can’t directly aim at you while you’re taunting.

Those are pretty much the most important things to remember. Be quick and precise with whatever you do. For a beginner it will take a while to get used to it, but learning from mistakes is the best way to get better. I was an awful medic when I started practicing, but I wanted to become better so I didn’t give up. Now he is definitely my best class.

I personally avoid being a pocket medic, because that will go against my will of being a team player. I hate nothing more than medics who are blind to everyone but one member of the whole team.

This turned out long but I hope it’s somewhat helpful to you! This is only based on my own playing style, so I’m not saying it’s the only “correct” way to play medic, not at all. But I can tell that 9 out of 10 times it proves to be effective. (The one time being with an awful team who has no idea what they’re doing, hahah.)

Soooooo, today! I hopped on an EU server (yay ping) to hang out with Bunny before her tryout lobby thingy, and I RAN IN TO LINTU. I got so super excited I was trying to not fangirl. And I didn’t actually know if it was the REAL LINTU. I ran around healing her and trying to keep her safe, just in case.

Finally, when the server switched to a new map, I had the guts to ask if it was her, AND SHE WAS SO NICE HOLY CRUD I JUST MELTED. And then, as you can see, everyone on the server was obviously doing their jobs and killing each other (not).

Then I asked her to sign my muffler AND SHE DID AAHFZGFL

Lintu is so frickin’ nice and awesome and adorable sajzfkdjsg. I hope I get to run in to her again some day!

i had applied to Metropolia University, on the 3D-animation/visualization studies, and today i got an invitation to the qualification exams!!!

asdhjfshsf i didn’t even expect getting invited so i’m REALLY surprised and also kinda anxious hahahha

the reason why i’m a little stressed is because only 14 people will qualify to the line. i have no idea how many were chosen to the exams, but i’m sure it’s gonna be tough.

idk i should practice drawing all kinds of things during these three weeks before that hhfhsg WISH ME LUCK

since I started playing TF2. I still remember my first time trying it, and how I fell in love with the style and characters. Most of all I’m really happy how many wonderful people I’ve met in the community. All the amazing artists have inspired me to get better, and my art has improved a lot through these years. I don’t know what would I be without this community/fandom.

I know I’ve made a post like this each year, but I can’t express it enough how much I love TF2. So yeah, a huge thanks to everyone who has been supporting me all this time, and still do. <3
